Description
This dual H-bridge motor driver module is designed for controlling two DC motors independently or a single 4-wire, 2-phase stepper motor. It supports forward and reverse rotation as well as PWM-based speed control.
The module operates from 2V to 10V and can provide 1.5A continuous current per channel, with peak current up to 2.5A. Its compact design, low power consumption, and built-in protection make it suitable for battery-powered robotics and small motor-control projects.
Features
- Dual-channel H-bridge motor driver
- Supports two DC motors or one 4-wire, 2-phase stepper motor
- Continuous output current of 1.5A per channel
- Peak current up to 2.5A
- Built-in thermal protection with automatic recovery
- Low standby current
- Low on-resistance MOS switch for reduced heat generation
- Compact and lightweight design
- PWM speed control
- Forward and reverse motor control
- Suitable for battery-powered applications
Precautions
- Do not reverse the positive and negative power connections, as this can damage the circuit.
- Avoid shorting the outputs to ground or each other.
- Motor stall conditions can cause the driver to enter thermal protection.
- Do not operate beyond the specified voltage and peak-current limits, as excessive voltage or current may damage the driver.
