How to Use
Using the battery capacity indicator is simple:
- Identify the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals of your battery pack.
- Connect the indicator module’s positive terminal to the battery positive terminal.
- Connect the indicator module’s negative terminal to the battery negative terminal.
- The LED bar display will illuminate according to the measured battery voltage.
- As the battery voltage changes, the displayed level will change accordingly.
The module should be connected in parallel with the battery pack. It is intended to indicate battery level and is not a battery charger or BMS.
Battery Level Indication
The indicator uses the battery pack voltage to provide an approximate charge-level display. For a series-connected battery pack, the voltage thresholds are related to the number of cells in the pack.
The displayed level generally increases as the battery voltage rises and decreases as the battery voltage falls. Because battery voltage does not directly equal remaining capacity, the LED indication should be treated as a quick visual reference rather than an exact percentage measurement.
