Description
The Creality Sprite Direct Drive Extruder Pro is a compact direct-drive extrusion system designed to improve filament feeding and expand the range of materials that can be used with compatible Creality 3D printers.
Unlike a traditional Bowden setup, the direct-drive design keeps the extruder and hotend close together, creating a shorter filament path. This makes filament control more responsive and is particularly useful when printing with flexible materials such as TPU.
The extruder uses a 3.5:1 gear ratio to provide high extrusion force and more precise control over filament feeding and retraction. Its dual-drive gear system grips the filament from both sides, helping maintain consistent feeding while reducing the risk of slipping.
An adjustable tensioner allows you to fine-tune the pressure applied to the filament, which can be useful when switching between different filament types. The compact assembly measures approximately 54 × 50 × 64.3mm and weighs around 288g.
The full-metal hotend features a titanium heatbreak and aluminum alloy heat block, supporting printing temperatures of up to 300°C. This allows compatible printers to work with a wider range of materials, including PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS, PA, and PC, depending on the printer and filament requirements.
