Description
The DALY BMS 16S 48V 30A LiFePO4 Battery Management System is designed specifically for 16S LiFePO4 battery packs made from 16 × 3.2V cells. It helps manage battery charging and discharging while providing essential protection and cell balancing for safer and more reliable battery operation.
This is a fixed 16S configuration, so it cannot be used with other series configurations. It is designed exclusively for LiFePO4 batteries and is not suitable for Li-ion, Li-Metal, or LTO battery packs.
The BMS supports a 30A continuous discharge current with a peak current rating of 90±15A. Its built-in protection functions help protect the battery pack from overcharging, over-discharging, excessive temperature, overcurrent, and short-circuit conditions.
The balance function helps maintain more consistent cell voltages across the battery pack, while the included temperature sensor provides temperature monitoring for additional protection.

Protection Functions
- Overcharge Protection: Detects cell voltage at 3.75±0.05V and releases protection at 3.65±0.05V.
- Over-Discharge Protection: Detects cell voltage at 2.7±0.1V.
- Overcurrent Protection: Protection delay of 1ms.
- Short-Circuit Protection: Detects an external short-circuit condition with a 250µS delay.
- Temperature Protection: Charging protection below -5°C or above 50°C; discharge protection below 70°C.
- Cell Balancing: Balance detection and release voltage of 3.5V with a balance current of 30±5mA.
