Description
The DALY BMS Li-ion 20S 72V 30A is a battery management and protection board designed specifically for 20-series (20S) lithium-ion battery packs. With a 30A continuous discharge rating, this BMS helps protect your battery pack from common electrical and temperature-related conditions while supporting balanced charging.
This 20S BMS uses high-quality MOSFETs and an integrated protection IC to monitor individual cell voltages and control charging and discharging according to the specified protection parameters.
The BMS is a fixed 20S configuration and is intended only for Li-ion battery packs. It should not be used with LiFePO4, Li-Metal, or LTO battery chemistries.
20S 72V Li-ion BMS
A 20S Li-ion battery pack consists of 20 cell groups connected in series. The BMS is designed specifically for this configuration and includes a 17-wire balance/sense cable for monitoring the individual battery groups.
The BMS provides a 30A continuous discharge current and a specified peak current of 90A ±15A.
Over-Charge & Over-Discharge Protection
The BMS monitors the voltage of individual battery cells to help protect the battery pack during charging and discharging.

- Over-discharge detection voltage: 2.7 ± 0.1V per cell

Temperature Protection
The BMS includes temperature protection during charging and discharging.
The specified temperature protection parameters are:
- Charging temperature protection: Below -5°C or above 50°C
- Discharging temperature protection: Below 70°C
- Working temperature range: -20°C to 70°C
The mechanical temperature sensor helps monitor battery temperature and provides additional protection against temperature-related issues.
Short-Circuit & Over-Current Protection
The DALY 20S 72V 30A BMS includes over-current and short-circuit protection. When a short circuit or abnormal load condition is detected, the BMS can disconnect the battery output according to its protection parameters.
