Description
The DALY BMS Li-ion 6S 24V 100A Battery Management System is a high-current battery protection and balancing board designed for 6S lithium-ion battery packs. It is suitable for compatible Li-ion cells, including 18650, 21700, 36500 cylindrical cells, and suitable prismatic cells.
With a 100A continuous discharge current rating, this BMS is designed for applications that require higher current handling, such as electric bikes, electric skateboards, solar battery systems, RVs, power tools, camping equipment, boats, and household energy storage systems.
The BMS monitors the battery pack and provides multiple protection functions to help protect the cells from abnormal charging, discharge, current, temperature, and short-circuit conditions.
6S 24V Li-ion BMS Compatibility
This is a fixed 6S BMS configuration, designed specifically for 6-series Li-ion battery packs.
It is intended for Lithium-ion battery chemistry only and should not be used with LiFePO4, LTO, Li-Metal, or other battery chemistries. Before installation, confirm that your battery chemistry and series configuration match the BMS.
100A High-Current Battery Management System
The DALY 6S 24V 100A BMS supports a 100A continuous discharge current and a listed peak current of 300A ± 50A.
Its high-current design uses power MOSFETs and a heat sink to help manage heat during operation. For safe operation, the connected battery pack, wiring, connectors, charger, and load should all be appropriately rated for the required current.

Overcharge and Over-Discharge Protection
The BMS monitors the voltage of the individual battery groups in the 6S pack. When the specified protection threshold is reached, the BMS can disconnect the battery to help protect the cells.
The listed overcharge detection voltage is 4.25 ± 0.05V, with an overcharge release voltage of 4.15 ± 0.05V. The over-discharge detection voltage is 2.7 ± 0.1V, with a listed release voltage of 3.0 ± 1.0V.
Built-In Cell Balancing
The DALY BMS includes a cell balancing function to help manage voltage differences between series-connected Li-ion cells.
According to the supplied specifications, the balance detection voltage is 4.18V, the balance release voltage is 4.18V, and the balance current is 30 ± 5mA.
Short-Circuit and Over-Current Protection
The BMS provides protection against excessive current and external short-circuit conditions. If a protection event is detected, the BMS can disconnect the battery output.
The supplied specifications list an over-current detection delay of 1ms and a short-circuit detection delay of 250μs.
Temperature Protection
Temperature protection helps monitor the battery during charging and discharging. The supplied specifications list a working temperature range of -20°C to 70°C.
The charging temperature protection specification is listed as below -5°C or above 50°C, while discharge protection is listed as below 70°C.
