Description
The DSO138 Digital Mini Oscilloscope Module is a compact and affordable oscilloscope designed for electronics students, hobbyists, technicians, and DIY enthusiasts. Its simple and reliable design makes it suitable for learning oscilloscope operation while also providing useful measurement capabilities for everyday low-frequency signal testing.
Powered by an ARM Cortex-M3 STM32F103C8 processor, the DSO138 features a 2.4-inch color TFT display for viewing waveforms clearly. With a maximum real-time sampling rate of 1Msps and 12-bit accuracy, it can be used to observe audio signals, infrared transmitter/receiver waveforms, low-frequency switching power supply signals, and other low-frequency circuits.
The oscilloscope provides automatic, regular, and one-shot acquisition modes, along with rising- and falling-edge triggering. Users can adjust the vertical sensitivity and horizontal time base according to the signal being measured, while the HOLD function allows the waveform to be frozen on the display.
The DSO138 also includes a 1Hz/3.3V square-wave test signal output, making it convenient for checking the operation of the module and practicing oscilloscope measurements. Its open design can also be used as a basis for further development, such as creating a millivoltmeter or data logger.
