Description
The Makerbase MKS Robin Nano V3.1 is a high-performance 32-bit control board designed to provide reliable and responsive control for 3D printers. Powered by the STM32F407VET6 Cortex-M4 processor, it offers improved processing performance, memory, and connectivity compared with older 8-bit controller boards.
The board supports up to six-axis control, making it suitable for more advanced 3D printer configurations. It can also support dual Z-axis setups and up to two heating heads, along with a heated bed, giving users greater flexibility when building or upgrading their machines.
For storage and printing, the Robin Nano V3.1 supports TF/SD cards, USB disks, and virtual USB communication, allowing users to transfer or run print files without keeping a computer connected throughout the printing process.
The board also supports an external Wi-Fi module, which can be used for remote control, network-based printing, and other connected 3D printing applications. Two independent PWM fan outputs provide flexible cooling control for the hotend, printed part, or electronics.
The Robin Nano V3.1 is compatible with firmware such as Marlin 2.x, Klipper, and supported RepRapFirmware configurations. It also works with a range of MKS displays, including the MKS TS35, H43, MINI12864 V3, LCD12864, and LCD2004.
With built-in power protection and improved resistance to electrical interference, the board is designed for stable operation in demanding 3D printing environments.
