Description
The RAMPS 1.4 RepRap Control Board is designed to simplify the electronics setup of DIY 3D printers. It works as an expansion shield for the Arduino Mega 2560, bringing essential printer control connections together on a single board.
The board provides connections for stepper motors, extruder heaters, heated beds, cooling fans, thermistors, and endstop switches. Its plug-in design allows compatible stepper driver modules to be installed or replaced easily, making maintenance and upgrades more convenient.
With support for up to five stepper driver modules, the RAMPS 1.4 can control multiple printer motors, depending on the configuration and firmware. It also offers expansion connections for compatible LCD displays, SD card modules, and other accessories.
This board is suitable for DIY Prusa-style and other compatible RepRap 3D printer projects. An Arduino Mega 2560 and compatible stepper drivers are required for operation and may need to be purchased separately.
