Description
The SUNLU S2 Filament Dryer is designed to help protect 3D printer filaments from moisture and humidity, which can affect print quality and filament performance. It provides controlled heating to dry and store filament before or during printing.
With its 360° surround heating system, the S2 distributes heat evenly around the filament for more consistent drying. The heating system is designed to provide faster and more efficient drying compared with conventional filament storage boxes.
The dryer supports a temperature range of 35°C to 70°C, making it suitable for a wide variety of filament materials. Higher-temperature settings can be used for moisture-sensitive materials such as PA and PC, according to the filament manufacturer’s recommended drying temperature.
The S2 features a curved housing with upper and lower heating plates to improve heat distribution. Its raised feet also provide additional stability while helping reduce direct heat transfer between the dryer and the surface underneath.
An easy-to-use LED touchscreen displays important operating information such as temperature, drying time, material selection, and LED settings. The unit also supports switching between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature displays.
For added convenience, the SUNLU S2 includes intelligent drying modes and material presets, allowing users to select an appropriate drying setting without manually configuring every parameter.
