Description
The Tower Pro MG996R is a high-torque metal gear servo motor designed for robotics, RC models, and DIY projects. It provides controlled rotation from 0° to 180° according to the PWM signal supplied to its control wire.
Its metal gear construction provides improved durability for applications involving repeated movement and mechanical loads. The servo can deliver up to 11 kg/cm maximum stall torque at 6V and has an operating speed of 0.17 seconds per 60°.
The MG996R uses a simple three-wire connection for power, ground, and PWM control, making it easy to integrate with Arduino and other compatible servo controllers. Gear horns and mounting screws are included.
