Description
The DRV8825 Stepper Motor Driver Carrier is a breakout board based on Texas Instruments’ DRV8825 bipolar stepper motor driver. Its pinout and interface are nearly identical to common A4988 driver carriers, making it suitable as a higher-performance replacement in many applications.
The module provides adjustable current limiting, multiple microstep resolutions, and built-in protection against overcurrent, overheating, undervoltage, and short circuits. It can interface directly with both 3.3V and 5V logic systems and is suitable for CNC machines, 3D printers, and other motion-control projects.
